Holiday bus schedule in effect as of today

Prince George residents who rely on public transit should be aware that today (Tuesday) marks the start of the city’s holiday transit schedule.

The regular bus schedule will run until 7 P.M. On December 24^th.

Sunday service will run on December 26^th, “to help people go out shopping and get out in the community,” according to Lindsay Taylor, Northern Transit Government Relations Manager.

Regular service will run on December 31^st until 7 P.M., after which free New Year’s Eve service will begin, which ends at 3 A.M.

Buses will not be running on December 25^th and January 1^st.

Regular service will resume on January 2^nd.
