Parking violations are down for the last month of the year in PG.
This month has seen nearly 25% less timed zone enforcement tickets issued compared to December of last year, according to Manager of Bylaw Services, Fred Crittenden.
Additionally, “roughly 100 fewer tickets have been issued in December than in a similar timeframe last month.”
Crittenden also explained that individuals looking to visit restaurants and bars can take advantage of the free downtown parking available after 5 P.M.
Those hoping to avoid parking tickets should pay attention to signage, and familiarize themselves with winter parking restrictions, as 150 tickets related to snow removal have already been issued city-wide this winter.
Winter parking regulations can be found on the City of Prince George’s website.
