The Salvation Army in Prince George hopes to collect $300,000 by December 24th to aid 1200 households within the community.
According to an official release, the organization’s iconic Kettle campaign, which takes place every December, offers support to roughly 3500 individuals in the Prince George area.
There are twelve kettle locations across Prince George, primarily run by volunteers.
“It’s really important for all the charities in Prince George to be supported because our community is only as strong as our weakest members,” explained Salvation Army spokesperson, Neil Wilkinson.
