The BC Minister of Labour has appointed special mediator Trevor Sones to aid the bargaining process at UNBC
In an official statement on its website, UNBC explained that changes to the academic semester will require approval from Senate, but are assuring students that the semester will be resolved in a way that protects academic integrity and respects students.
Sones also worked as a mediator to resolve the 2015 UNBC strike.
