An update to a story we brought you late last week about a suspect wanted in a string of armed robberies across Western Canada, including Northern BC.
RCMP in Alberta have arrested a 26 year-old man they believe is responsible for a string of robberies of financial institutions from December to January as far east as Swift Current Saskatchewan to Dawson Creek on Wednesday, January 28th.
Two days later, police arrested the suspect at a Grande Prairie motel.
Police say the suspect, who has no fixed address, will be held in custody until his next court appearance.
