YXS will be hosting a series of fire training sessions during the remainder of October.
According to the PG Airport Authority, it will take place on the 25th, 29th, 30th, and 31st.
The fires pose no threat to the public and are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances.
Dark smoke may be visible in the area as a result.
