$3.3 million for capital projects given to SD57

Prince George’s School District has 3.3 million dollars for capital projects this year.

Trustee Tim Bennett says the money is from the provincial government for facilities.

He says the grant will be divided up three ways.

Bennett says the remainder of those funds will go towards upgrades across the district.

He says some of those include gym floors repairs, roofing upgrades and an expansion to the parking lot at John McInnis Centre.
