RCMP have released more details regarding a deceased person near Duchess Park Secondary.
Just after 8:00 Tuesday morning frontline officers attended the scene and located the adult body on the playground next to the school.
“At this time, there are no indications that foul play was involved and it is believed that the death was the result of a medical incident,” said Cpl. Sonja Blom
“Anyone affected by this incident is urged to speak to someone about it for their own mental wellness. The Prince George RCMP’s Victim Services Section is available for support and can be reached at 250-561-3329,” added Blom.
The Crisis Prevention, Intervention & Information Centre is available 24 hours a day at 1-888-562-1214.
Both services are free of charge.
