In early to mid-March 2019, the Prince George RCMP received several anonymous threats toward Polaris Montessori School and an independent childcare centre near the school.
At the time the school was evacuated to ensure the safety of the children attending both the school and childcare centre.
The RCMP has conducted a thorough investigation into the threats and on September 6th charges were laid against 23-year-old Emily Holland, formerly of Prince George.
She has been charged with four counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Holland was arrested on the outstanding charges and has since been released on bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for November 13.
