With files from Lindsay Newman, MyBulkleyLakesNow.comĀ

Crown Counsel Jeff Campbell has announced the new sentencing hearing date for former Burns Lake Mayor Luke Strimbold will be November 25th.

His original date this week got postponed because of court scheduling conflicts.

Strimbold pled guilty to four counts of sexual assault.

He originally was charged with 29 offences, including sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

Strimbold was elected to office in 2011 and at the time was the youngest mayor in B.C. history.
