40 years ago, Terry Fox came to the Northern Capital to train for what would become his iconic run, the Marathon of Hope, across the country.
A year after his visit, he made that trek and Canadian history. This morning (Sun) Prince George and Canada celebrated his legacy with the 39th Annual Terry Fox Run.

After Scott McWalter stepped down as lead organizer after serving the past five years, the event was brought new life as Ryley Newman was announced last month as taking on the vacated position.
