The Prince George Cougars have signed 2001-born defenceman Joe Kennedy to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
Kennedy was a free agent signing who was claimed off league waivers in the off-season.
He played at the Junior ‘A’ level the last two seasons in Ontario.
The Cougars start their pre-season with three games this weekend.

They play in Langley on Friday against the Kamloops Blazers and on Saturday vs. the Vancouver Giants.
Prince George will travel to Kelowna to face the Rockets Sunday.
