A long standing BC moving company is closing its doors.
Williams moving and storage has announced that after 86 years of business – it is now declaring bankruptcy and shutting down.
Effective on January 21st the company ceased operations and laid off hundreds in BC and Alberta, many without their final paycheques.
The company has struggled over the last decade and found itself reorganizing several times in order to save the business.
However, the losses have finally caught up and they now plan to self liquidate all assets over the next couple of weeks.
