Damaged storm drain expected to be repaired by the end of this week

A portion of Victoria Street, south of Milburn is still being worked on by the City of Prince George following a damaged storm drain.

As a result, Victoria Street will remain closed between McCullagh Avenue and Milburn until crews have re-paved the area.

The street has been closed since last week as the city looked at how to best fix the damaged culvert, which was believed to be installed in the 1960s’.

The road is expected to re-open by the end of the week.
