Airport fuel farm looking to expand

The Prince George Airport Authority has four carriers signed up for its fuel farm.
The facility that holds about 600,000 litres, has been operational since last September.
President and CEO John Gibson says they do have plans to keep expanding the business.
“We’re talking to the other carriers, that service the airport,” says Gibson, “we’re also talking to other fuel distributors, so any fuel distributor can put fuel into our tanks, and we’ll put the fuel into the airplanes.”
Gibson says the fuel farm has enough fuel to handle six wide body planes or 500,000 little airplanes.
He says they plan to keep expanding the business to handle bigger airplanes.
