Quick thinking by a neighbour helped to put out a fire at the 100 block of Gordon Crescent.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. Prince George firefighters respond to a bush fire on the front lawn of a home.
By the time firefighters arrived, the fire had already been put out by a neighbour with a garden hose.
Prince George Fire and Rescue said the fire appeared to be started accidentally by a cigarette butt.
No one was injured, and the damage to the home is estimated at $1000.
