The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has issued an update on the McBride Timber Road South fire.
As of 2130 hrs July 9, 2017
The evacuation alert for the McBride Timber Road South remains in effect as a precautionary measure while crews are undertaking burn off treatment on the fire.
The residents who were evacuated yesterday from Lamar Road have been permitted to return home.
Next update will be tomorrow morning after 9 am, unless there are any significant developments.
