The 2016 World Baseball Challenge in Prince George is back to five teams.
Tournament Chair, Rick Pattie says he’s very excited by the news. “Out of New Mexico, the Roswell Invaders are a very competitive and respected team and we’re just excited they have accepted our late invitation.”
The Invaders play out of the Pecos Independent League and replace the Bahamas who backed out last week due to financial reasons.
They join Team Japan, Thurston County Generals, Sidearm Nation and the Kamloops Sun Devils.
It runs from August 12-20 at Citizen Field.
Tournament passes are available through Ticketmaster while single game tickets go on-sale August 2nd at Citizen Field.
