Fire gutted business to open Pine Centre Mall location

A Prince George business is making strides after a fire ravaged its downtown location in May.

Prince George’s Homework is re-opening a storefront in Pine Centre Mall as Owner/Operator David Smook explains:

“Our anticipated opening date is July 13th, but it’s subject to some variables and we are pushing hard to get open at that point. Our bigger, longer term plan is to open downtown but that is just going to be a ways away”

Smook says the move comes as they realized that the re-building of the downtown location is scheduled to take a little longer than anticipated, and they did not want to remain closed for an extended period of time.
