Prince George Fire and Rescue from four halls responded to an apartment complex fire on 1438 Queensway just after 1:00 this afternoon (Sunday).
The first engines on scene discovered dark, black smoke coming from the entrance of the underground parking area of the building, according to Assistant Chief Kevin Woodhouse.
Crews initiated a fast attack, and the fire was confined to a single-vehicle in the underground parking area with an estimated damage of $3,000 to the car.
The apartment complex was evacuated until all residual smoke could be removed from the building.
The residents of the building were all evacuated without incident and there were no injuries to fire personnel.
The cause of the vehicle fire is undetermined at this time.
